Abstract:"According to US EPA 8270 method the semi-volatile organic compounds in chemical waste were analysed by internal standard method which could eliminate the systematic and injection errors and increase the accuracy of the results. Through this experiment, ten prior pollutants of US EPA and eleven organic chlorinated compounds with concentrations between 0.4 microg/g and 80 microg/g in the waste were determined. It is concluded that the waste was hazardous and could not be disposed without proper treatment"
