Abstract:"This article investigates the effect of microwaves on the amount of volatile compounds from Thymus kotschyanus Boiss with four methods, headspace single-drop microextraction, microwave-assisted headspace single-drop microextraction, microwave distillation extraction and hydrodistillation, for the analysis of essential oil. Solvent selection, solvent volume, microwave power, irradiation time and sample mass were optimised by simplex method"
