Abstract:"The chemical composition of the diethyl ether extracts of Ocimum minimum L., a traditional herb cultivated in Portugal, was evaluated. Thirty-two compounds were identified, the major ones being linalool (24.7%), eugenol (20.5%), 1,8-cineole (9.6%), beta-elemene (6.6%) and trans-alpha-cubebene (6.3%)"
