Abstract:Coefficients of correlation in the range of 0.6-0.8 were found between the size of the accessory sex glands and level of androstenone in subcutaneous fat. The length and weight of accessory sex glands combined in a multiple regression equation explained 64% of the variation in androstenone content. The correlation between boar taint intensity and size of accessory sex glands varied between 0.28 and 0.34
