Abstract:"In photoperiod and constant temperature, male responsiveness to female pheromones shows a circadian rhythm with a maximum, when females are calling, at the end of scotophase. During photophase, a second peak appears which may correspond in nature with sexual activity at dawn. The sex pheromone production by female seems maximum during scotophase"
