Abstract:		"Whole-body extracts of the termite,Coptotermes formosanus Shiraki served for examining the presence of trail pheromone precursor(s). Three trail pheromone precursor candidates, identified as dodecatrienyl stearate, dodecatrienyl oleate, and dodecatrienyl linoleate, were isolated using various chromatographic methods in conjunction with bioassay and by capillary GC-MS analyses"
